About SEBN

SEBN believes more is achieved by working collaboratively and it takes pride in the numerous relationships and partnerships it has developed over the years.

So where does SEBN fit in a region blessed with business support services, both private and government, and what makes it different? It is the region’s longest-running network provider (starting the manufacturing network groups in 1992) and became part of CGD in 1998 as its Business Networking Unit.

Perhaps it’s the continuity of both its service and of its participants that makes it unique and enables traction and sustainability of the leveraged learning networks and programs it delivers.  Another factor is the collaborative model under which it operates – wholly owned by CGD, yet closely aligned with SEMMA and key providers of services relevant to manufacturers.

SEBN is about encouraging business to THINK and supporting it to ACT and its role is to bring people together to strengthen manufacturing knowledge and capability in this south east region. It’s continually evolving to meet and stay ahead of industry needs, delivering practical and specialised services. SEBN supports and connects manufacturers in their pursuit of both efficiency and excellence through diverse roundtables and programs from CEO and Future Leaders to Lean 2 Green Sustainability and OH&S, all of which address current and future issues of impact.

SEBN also delivers activities and programs that support the role of Women in Business. It is also involved in many community activities from schools to industry activities that promote careers in manufacturing, mentoring and its annual charity event-which supports local charities.
