Members of the Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce have been working with businesses in the southeast region for over 50 years.

The Chamber provides members with a platform for promotion and the opportunity to interact with other local business people by way of the high profile Premier Regional Business Awards and social events.  Various functions are conducted throughout the year.

The Springvale Asian Business Association (SABA) is a business community group that was set up in Springvale in 1989 to assist the promotion of the Springvale Central Activities District and Springvale businesses in general.


Dandenong Retail Traders Association

Formed in 1997, the DRTA represents a diverse cross-section of Dandenong’s retail businesses. Its main purpose is the revitalisation and expansion of strip shopping in Dandenong.

Formed in October 2008, the Noble Park Traders Association provides a network in the Noble Park Shopping Centre that promotes a positive image, looks to increase trade, conducts programs aimed to benefit the retailers and community and help to promote events and programs.

Melbourne South East (MSE)

The City of Greater Dandenong is involved in a strategic alliance of 11 Councils, two utilities, a key tertiary education provider, plus State and Federal Government representatives, called Melbourne South East (MSE). 

The group has developed a regional strategy, Prosperity for the Next Generation, and are involved with joint funding applications and implementation of projects to deliver sustainable prosperity and liveability to the region.
