Carols in Harmony Square
Kick off the festive season with your host Denis Walter at the 71st annual Greater Dandenong Carols in Harmony Square on Friday 14 December, 6.30pm.
Come and sing along at this free family event. This year Carols in Harmony Square will include exciting performances and interactive activities. Be ready for lots of fun and a visit from Santa!
Mini LED candles will be available for a gold coin donation.
Get there early to grab the best seat or bring your own picnic rug and folding chairs.

Meet our Host Denis Walter
Forty years ago Denis Walter burst onto the Australian entertainment scene as the young man with the big voice. From his early days on Young Talent Time Denis carved out an impressive list of credits including many golf records, command performances and went on to become of Australia’s best known and loved performers constantly on the road performing. He is as busy as ever, as 3AW 693 Afternoon host, a television guest, recording artist, corporate host, and concert and club entertainer.
Accomplished Australian theatre performer Karla Tonkich is known for her powerful and resonating vocal. With stage credits well beyond her years, Karla has performed in many of Australia’s leading and touring musicals, including; Grease – The Musical, We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde, Bragadoon, the Australian tour of High School Musical – Live on Stage, Bring it on - The Musical, the Australian Opera Company’s Brundibar, Absinthe – the Australian tour & many more. Karla is also a regular on the corporate stage for touring show the Oz Girlz™, and as a feature performer for events, with clients including; Crown Resorts, Carols by Candelight – The Nine Network, The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce & Starlight Foundation.

Melbourne based 24-year old artist Soli Tesema, is of one the finest up and coming RNB acts the city has to offer. Heavily inspired by Gospel music, Soli's smooth and soulful tones have captivated audiences Australia wide. With her debut single due for release by December 2018, the glimmering career of this young RNB songstress is one to watch. Soli Tesema was a part of The Voice Australia’s Top 24 in 2014.
Adam Ladell has always been musically gifted. Starting at a young age, Adam joined the Drakensberg Boys' Choir School, a notorious school in South Africa where he gained his passion for music. He was always singing and performing. He also attended the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, the top arts school in the state, for singing. In 2016 Adam Ladell partook in the internationally recognised The Voice Australia competition and finished runner up. He was labelled the "fan favourite" of the season. At only 18, Adam Ladell has won over the hearts of people not only from Australia, but globally. With his song 'Super Powers' being heard by over 19 million people around the world.
The Herald-Sun has branded The Kazoos "Challengers to The Wiggles throne" because if The Kazoos do one thing exceptionally well, they entertain kids. As one of Australia’s most acclaimed children’s shows, The Kazoos have been touring theatres nationally and internationally since 2008. The Kazoos have been entertaining families at events all over Australia since 2005 including St Kilda Fest, Warrnambool Fun4Kids, Queenscliff Music Festival, Moomba and more.
The City of Greater Dandenong Band is one of Melbourne's premier brass bands with a long established tradition of performing a range of concerts, community, and corporate events, as well as regularly competing in regional, state, and National brass band competitions.
Regularly performing in front of large audiences at community events such as ANZAC Day services and community Christmas Carols, the band also marches in a variety of parades and placed fourth nationally in the last Parade of Bands Championships.
