Amending a Planning Permit Application
You can apply to amend a planning permit application that has already been lodged with Council, but that has not yet been determined.
Depending on the extent of the changes proposed, Council may consider that notification of the proposed change must be undertaken before the application can be determined.
Requests must be submitted in writing and must include:
- A completed amendment to planning application request form
- Payment of the prescribed application fee - see the Planning fees and charges section. If you wish to pay by credit card, please submit your application and you will be sent an invoice which can be paid on Council's online payment portal MyGreaterDandenong.com
- One set of all application documents and plans in hard copy (Note: Plans can be A3 size for small scale developments. Plans must be A1 or A2 size for large scale developments)
- An electronic copy of all application documents and plans on CD/DVD or USB flash drive
Please note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
It is strongly suggested that you discuss the proposed amendment of your application with the planning officer processing your application before lodging your amendment request.
Please note: The estimated cost of the development is used to assess the fee amount. If this has changed, you will need to pay the difference (if any) between the fee originally paid and the fee payable for the amended proposal. If you are unsure of the fee that applies to your proposal, contact Council's Planning department on 8571 1000.
If you wish to amend a permit that has already been issued, see the Amending a Planning Permit section.
