Multi-Deck Car ParksShort term or Casual Parking Thomas and Walker St The lower levels of both of these car parks offer short term or casual daily parking options. Fee apply as follows:
Parking in these car parks after 6pm is FREE. Please note: As part of the 2018-19 Capital Works Program Thomas Street Carpark – Public Toilet Upgrade will commence on 21 January 2019. Works will take approximately 15 weeks. Existing outdated facilities will be demolished and modern unisex toilets with better disability access improving comfort and public safety toilets will be provided. During construction Thomas Street carpark toilets won’t be available. The nearest public toilets for the construction period will be in the nearby Civic Centre.
Walker Street multi-deck car park The Walker Street multi-deck car park provides a mixture of long term permit parking and casual parking. Changes to car parking operating system for permit holders The car park operating system was upgraded in July 2016 to improve service and reliability. Permit Holders will be issued with an electronic access card which will require scanning upon entry and exiting at the new boom gate. Valid parking permits must displayed on windscreens while your car is parked in the car park. Applying for a permit General and reserved permits can be purchased for 3, 6 and 12 month periods. Any member of the public can apply for a parking permit in this car park. To apply for a Waker Street multi-deck car park permit, complete the Walker Street (general and reserved) multi-deck car park permit application form (Word - 208KB) and return to Council via post, fax, email or in person. Carroll Lane car park
The Carroll Lane Car Park, located adjacent to Dandenong Railway Station provides another, cheaper long-term parking option for people who work in Dandenong.
This single-level car park opens Monday to Saturday, 6am to 7pm (except public holidays). It is monitored by CCTV cameras and is well lit. Up to three vehicles can be registered on any one permit.
Corporate customers can also purchase permits for use by their staff. A maximum of five vehicles can be registered against each corporate permit.
