Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Garden Tour
Take a tour and discover the unique historic precinct of Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens located at the heart of Dandenong.
Your experienced local tour guide will show the two acre property which includes Dandenong Shire’s first two-storey homestead Laurel Lodge (1869); and Benga House (1936), which at the time of construction was to be the largest and most expensive house built in the Shire.
These stunning houses sit amongst the beautiful historical garden, which features two Morton Bay Fig trees, planted over 130 years ago.
You will hear the history of the property and of the occupants gone by, be shown the garden by the City of Greater Dandenong’s horticultural team and learn how it has become a cultural hub for Greater Dandenong.
