Hot Shots Tennis - Children's Festival

Hot Shots Tennis - Children's Festival

As part of the Greater Dandenong Children's Festival, children are invited to come along to Springers Leisure Centre and learn the fundamental skills of tennis over an afternoon...

Hot Shots Tennis is the perfect way for kids aged 3 to 10 years to get into tennis. Hot Shot Tennis uses modified racquets, courts and low-compression balls to help kids experience a greater level of success and enjoyment right from the first time they step out on court.

Guided by a Tennis Program Officer and under the supervision of qualified Tennis Australia coaches, kids are encouraged to develop at their own pace, moving on to the next stage when they are ready.

Benefits of playing Hot Shots Tennis, children will learn:

  • Fundamental motor skills for future physical activity and sport participation
  • Basics of fitness conditioning, muscle management and well being
