Local governments join forces to help grow local business

09 March 2016

The City of Greater Dandenong has formed a partnership with neighbouring Kingston City Council to present a series of small business workshops and seminars for home-based, micro and small business in 2016.

The series, which runs until October, covers core business basics along with the key focus areas of marketing, tenders, exporting, resources, online marketing and social media.

Council’s Economic Development Unit has teamed up with a diverse range of stakeholders (Australian Taxation Office, Dandenong Library, Industry Capability Network (ICN), Kingston City Council, Pitcher Partners, Macpherson and Kelly Lawyers, Manex, raraPR, Social Traders and Small Business Victoria) to deliver a comprehensive suite of programs aimed to boost the growth of the local small business sector.
