Our services are either being offered in full (Green), in a modified delivery method (Amber), or have been suspended until further notice (Red). See the following information for the status of each service.

Free downloadable eBooks, Audiobooks, online newspapers, magazines and comics are available on the website.
Devices/platforms supported may include Windows, Apple, iOS, Android, Nook, Kindle Fire. Please refer to the support/help information in each service for more detail.
Free Home Delivery Service and Family Fun Bundles
Due to Stage Four restrictions, contactless home delivery of library items is only available to Greater Dandenong Library members who live in the City of Greater Dandenong.

Join the Library
Join the library online to access online services.
New members can join online. You will receive a WEB User ID number by email. This will give you access to the wide range of free online resources* available 24/7. (*Not all resources are available to online memberships).
If your WEB User ID does not let you access an online resource you are interested in, please use our Ask a Librarian service and a Librarian will contact you with a new membership number which will grant you full remote access until 30 September 2020.
Remote catalogue search
Find a title, reserve, borrow or renew it, straight from your mobile.
From events to opening hours to directions, regularly updated service information gives you all the knowledge you need.
Online services continue to be available 24/7.
If you recently joined the library online and received a WEB ID that does not let you access your desired online service, please contact the library via our Ask a Librarian online form and a librarian will contact you regarding upgrading to a full library membership initially until 30 September.

Returns Chutes at Dandenong and Springvale Libraries are Open
The Dandenong Library and Springvale Library book return chutes are open. All checked out items have extended due dates beyond the lockdown period and Library Services no longer charge overdue fees.
Please note due to quarantining of items returned through the chutes, recently returned items may appear on your list of checkouts for up to ten days.

As a member of Greater Dandenong Libraries you can recommend or request materials for inclusion into the library’s collection through the Suggest a Title form on the library catalogue.

Learning Help for Adults
Help with resumes, forms, letters, assignments or general questions is still available by phone or by email.
Please phone the library on 1300 630 920 Monday to Friday 9am–5pm (excluding public holidays) to leave your name and phone number or email to get help.
Staff will contact you by phone or by email within 48 hours.
Library Tech Assist
If you need help setting up your devices to use our online resources or general support with your technology, phone the libraries on 1300 630 920 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for a referral to our Online Library Tech Assist service.
All checkouts have been extended to 2 January 2021, which will be reviewed and extended as required.
