Jan Wilson Community Centre Hire Information

Location: Barry Powell Reserve, Halton Road, Noble Park North

The Jan Wilson Community Centre is available for community or private hire.

The centre has three rooms and a fully equipped large industrial kitchen available for hire:

  • Main Hall – seats up to 240 theatre style or 200-220 people banquet style
  • Multipurpose Room - seats up to 70 people theatre style or 60 people banquet style (kitchenette attached)
  • Meeting Room – seats 20 to 25 people classroom or boardroom style
  • Kitchen - accommodates 15 to 20 people for cooking classes and demonstrations

The rooms are available day and evening and are suitable for a range of events including:

  • training and workshops
  • community/support groups meetings
  • Corporate meetings and forums
  • music groups
  • social functions
  • presentations                             
  • dinner dances
  • family gatherings
  • dance groups
  • birthday parties, weddings and engagements
  • cooking classes and cooking demonstrations in the kitchen

The large kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, large stove, microwave, food warmer, instant boiling water, large refrigerator, freezer and direct servery access to the rooms.

All rooms are fully air-conditioned and heated.
