Short Cuts Film Festival

First run in 2016, The Short Cuts Film Festival provides a fantastic platform for local community members, emerging artists and accomplished industry professionals to share their stories.

SUB]URBAN STUDIO is a two-year creative arts project that will offer exciting new arts opportunities to the Greater Dandenong community.

Funded by the City of Greater Dandenong and Creative Victoria as part of the Creative Suburbs program, participants will take part in workshops and performances to explore the mediums dance, puppetry and spoken word.

Cultural Threads Textiles Celebration

Cultural Threads is an exciting month-long celebration of textile arts across Greater Dandenong.

From knitting to crocheting, dyeing to weaving, needlepoint to urban fashion – people from all ages and backgrounds are invited to learn new crafts, trade skills, create works with textile artists, share stories and interweave cultures.

Cultural Threads ran in 2014 and 2016.

Melbourne Writer's Festival (MWF)

Each year the Greater Dandenong community get to celebrate the cultural richness that makes up our community with this series of activities and events that inspired readers and writers of all backgrounds at the Melbourne Writer's Festival.

The festival is expected to visit Greater Dandenong again this year so stay tuned!
