Skate Parks in Greater Dandenong

Important information regarding COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our skate parks are currently closed until further notice to keep our community safe. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

Noble Park Skate Park

The Noble Park Skate Park is a premier skate park unique to all other skate parks within south eastern Melbourne, due to its special design featuring a plaza, snake-run and bowl.

Location: Memorial Drive, Noble Park (corner of Heatherton Road)

Open: Dawn till 10pm

Part of the youth precinct for Ross Reserve, the park was designed and built by team led by specialist skate park designer Jon McGrath – a Noble Park and professional skater.

About the park:

  • The skate park development is part of the Ross Reserve Master Plan
  • The skate park different to Dandenong’s Hemming Park skate park and other skate parks within south eastern Melbourne because the elements that have been incorporated are not replicated in any other skate park
  • This design consists of three elements known as a Plaza, Snake-run and Bowl
  • The incorporation and integration of the new Kofu drinking fountain into the design signifies and celebrates the sister city relationship between the Rotary Clubs of Noble Park and Kofu, Japan

There are regular activities and competitions on at the skate park so head down or check youth.greaterdandenong.com for upcoming events.

Hemmings Park Skate Park

The Hemmings Park Skate Park is a popular venue for young people within our community, particularly during school holidays, on weekends and after school. Other features of Hemmings Park include:

  • BMX track
  • Walking tracks
  • Children playground
  • BBQ facilities and sheltered picnic areas
  • The Castle
