Advocacy: P-12/Secondary School in Keysborough South

Funding was announced in the 2016-17 Victorian State Budget to purchase land for a primary school in Keysborough South.

Council welcomed this financial commitment by the State Government for educational facilities in Greater Dandenong.

Key findings from  consultation with the Keysborough South residents at the end of 2015 on the development of a community hub (to be co-located with the school) provided clear data and support for a public primary and secondary school in Keysborough South.

On 19 July 2017 the State Government announced it had secured a site for the primary school at Homeleigh Road, Keysborough South.

What is Council doing?
