Heyington Crescent, Noble Park North Traffic Management Project

Council is proposing to install traffic calming treatments along Heyington Crescent in Noble Park North. It has been identified traffic speeds and driver behaviour in this area pose a safety risk to road users.

To improve road safety, Council is proposing to implement the following:

  • Raised safety platform at the intersection of Marsham Street and Heytington Crescent

  • Raised safety platform at the intersection of Titcher Road and Heytington Crescent

  • Parking lane line marking along Heyington Crescent between Halton Road and Kingswood Crescent

These proposed treatments should reduce vehicle speeds and discourage non-local traffic in the area. Examples of recently installed raised intersections are located in Eagle Drive, Noble Park North; Alpine Crescent, Noble Park North; Devira Street, Dandenong North and Bundeena Avenue, Keysborough.
