Winter vibes July school holiday program

Council’s Youth Services in conjunction with the Holiday Program Leadership Committee are offering an exciting July program for young people aged between 12 and 25 – Winter Vibes.

Starting on Monday 1 July, Winter Vibes offers young people great activities, until Friday 12 July.

Planned outings include galactic circus, ice skating and wave pool. The ever-popular toboggan snow trip to Lake Mountain is also on offer, complete with races and great mountain trails.

Local activities include art attack mural painting, video games challenge, Asian cooking, mental health and you photographic competition and the all new twenty game ‘survivor challenge’.

For those wanting to participate in music and the performing arts don’t miss the Jam Nite event featuring Code 1 and singing competition at The Castle on 11 July.

The finale of Winter Vibes is a major dance tournament called Fired Up! featuring hip hop and breakdancing at Springvale hall on Friday 12 July – crew entries close 21 June.

All activities are reduced in cost or free to young people. Bus pickups are provided free of charge for most of the activities and outings from Dandenong, Noble Park and Springvale.

Bookings can be made by dropping into the YStop office at 39a Clow Street, Dandenong (rear of Dandenong library) between the hours of 9am–5pm Monday to Friday. Places are limited so get in early.

All activities and events are strictly drugs, alcohol and smoke free.
